Dog Bite Resources for Injury Victims

Animal attacks can result in more than just physical pain and expensive medical bills. In many cases, the attack can lead to psychological hardships for the remainder of the individual’s life. Children, who are especially susceptible to dog bites, can have their lives negatively impacted by this event that occurred at a young age.

At Rob Roe Law, LLC, we are dedicated to helping those who have suffered personal injuries from dog bites recover the full and fair compensation they deserve. Ideally, however, these individuals would not have experienced the tragedy at all. For that reason, we highlight some of the resources that the city of St. Paul offers to its residents.

One of the helpful tools offered by the city is a Dangerous Dog Map. The map, provided by the Department of Safety and Inspections, highlights areas where dangerous dogs reside at their owner’s home. On a grid of the city of Saint Paul, locations of the reported dangerous dogs are highlighted with a red circle.

Another resource is a directory of all the reported dangerous dogs in the city. These are animals that have, for one reason or another, been declared dangerous. You can view a profile and picture of the dog with a corresponding number to the physical location of the animal. The profile includes the dog’s name, address, breed, and names of owners. Once the dog’s owner has completed the required training and education for their pet and themselves, and the pet is affirmed, the dog may be removed from the list.
