Rob Roe Raises Record Amount at Spare Key Fundraiser

On Behalf of | Mar 20, 2013 | Personal Injury

Rob Roe, the St. Paul personal injury attorney at our firm, maintains an unwavering dedication to the wrongfully injured, as well as to his community. It is for this reason that he has become so actively involved in the Minnesota-based organization, Spare Key. The founders of Spare Key created this organization with the hope that they could help parents of seriously ill or critically injured children. By offering housing grants and mortgage assistance, they are allowing parents to remain in the hospital as a support system for their children—which, they believe, is where these parents belong. As of January 1, 2013, Rob Roe was reappointed the President of the Board of Directors for this non-profit.

In addition to his commitment with Spare Key, Mr. Roe is also a member of The Injury Board (IB). Founded in 2001, this organization is made up of more than 150 member firms that proactively offer their legal services to anyone in need, as well as assist clients across the country in choosing an attorney who is right for their case. According to The Injury Board’s official website, members are recruited based on their commitment to four key areas: Relationships, Leadership, Community and Results. It is for this reason that Mr. Roe turned to his fellow IB members when organizing a charity auction for Spare Key. Without hesitation, several members of The Injury Board stepped up to donate items for the event.

IB members Jessie Hoerman, Tor Hoerman, John Bair and Noble McIntyre all went above and beyond in their efforts, contributing donations that would eventually go on to raise close to $10,000 for the non-profit organization. It was because of their contributions that Spare Key was also able to raise over $250,000 at their annual gala fundraiser—which turns out to be a record amount. Mr. Roe was overwhelmed by the support of his fellow attorneys and IB members, and “[he] can’t thank Jessie and Tor Hoerman, Jon Bair and Noble McIntyre enough.” If you are interested in learning more about Mr. Roe’s involvement in Spare Key’s annual gala, we encourage you to read the full story here.
